Reddit threads show up often in AI answers. That's why it's tempting to fake it, and why it backfires. Moderators and users spot astroturf fast. The founder who answers 'does this have sucralose?' honestly in r/fitness does more than ten planted posts.
Do this
- Find the five subreddits where people discuss your category.
- Read the rules. Many ban self-promotion outright.
- Answer questions with a disclosed account, and skip the threads where you'd just be selling.
