Should your brand be on Wikipedia or Wikidata?
Wikidata, maybe, if you have reliable sources. Wikipedia only if independent coverage exists, and never written by you.
Wikipedia needs significant coverage in independent, reliable sources, and editing your own article is a conflict of interest. Wikidata has a lower bar but still wants references. Don't game either one. Earn the press first.
Do this
- Search Wikidata for your brand and check whether an item exists.
- If you add one, cite independent sources.
- For Wikipedia, focus on earning coverage, and let independent editors decide.
